Liquid coolers excel at delivering cooling to concentrated heat sources such as laser diodes and for delivering cooled
fluid into remote or compact locations where the cooling assembly itself can not be located. The basic operation is
simple: fluid flows in one tube, it is cooled, and then it flows out the other tube.
An external pump is required, and typically small DC magnetic-drive pumps are used to minimize the amount of pump
power (heat) that is imparted to the fluid. Iwaki RD series are a common choice. It is important to insulate the
fluid transport lines if the fluid drops more than a few degrees below ambient. Performance is also very dependent on
fluid type and flow rates, so consult the factory if a minimum flow of water at 1.6 L/min can not be designed into the system.
Capacity Rating: 35 watts at a 0°C temperature difference. Example Applications: In-process fluid cooling and gas drying in analytical instruments. Features: This cooler is best suited for small heat loads. Like all of our coolers, it can be easily customized to meet your production requirements: special liquid plates, smaller heat sinks, different operating voltages, lower power consumption, etcetera. Powered by 12VDC, it has the lowest power consumption of any of our standard liquid coolers, which makes it compatible with all of our temperature controllers (except the TC-48-10).

Capacity Rating: 61 watts at a 0°C temperature difference. Example Applications: Recirculating water chillers, cooling in-process fluid, and gas drying in analytical instruments. Features: A four-pass liquid loop provides a very good thermal link between the fluid and the two thermoelectric modules. The aluminum portions of the liquid path are hard-coat anodized to prevent corrosion. For stainless steel liquid paths select a cold-plate style cooler and add an optional stainless steel liquid plate. This cooler is powered by 24 VDC and is compatible with all of our temperature controllers (except the TC-48-10).

Capacity Rating: 200 watts at a 0°C temperature difference. Example Applications: Laboratory instruments, laser diode cooling, medical products, recirculating chillers, temperature baths. Features: High-density bonded-fin heat sink, an eight-pass liquid loop, and six thermoelectric modules for high capacity in a compact size. As with all of our liquid coolers it can be customized with swirl inserts in the liquid loop to improve efficiency at low flow rates. This cooler is powered by 24 VDC and is compatible with the TC-24-25, TC-36-25 RS232, and TC-48-20 temperature controllers.
