Simply click on one of the graphics below that best represents your application. You will then be taken to a form page where you can enter the relevant data for your application. Once you fill out the form and click "Calculate", the design calculator will quickly show:

        • The system's total heat load
        • The dew point so you can check for water condensation
      • The appropriate standard cooler

Please note some cautions about the design inputs and interpreting the results:

  1. Certain applications ask that you enter an insulation thickness. Do not leave this set to zero. If you have an application which is not actually insulated, then you should enter a small number like 0.001, for example.
  2. The insulation type is assumed to be extruded polystyrene foam (Styrofoam).
  3. The passive heat load associated with water vapor condensation is not calculated with this online program. If the program indicates that cooling below the dew point temperature will occur, consult with TE Technology for further assistance with product selection.
  4. You should verify that a recommend cooler is capable of providing a sufficient safety margin with respect to cooling capacity.
