Six thermoelectric modules, extender blocks, and a bonded-fin heat sink and cold sink make this cooler very efficient and compact for its capacity. The bonded-fin cold sink keeps the temperature difference between the enclosure's air and the cold sink to a minimum. This is especially useful for cooling to temperatures near 0°C when a less efficient cold sink would allow condensation to freeze on it and restrict airflow. This cooler is powered by 24 VDC, is rated to NEMA 12, and can be customized to achieve NEMA 4. It is compatible with the TC-24-25, TC-36-25 RS232, and TC-48-20 temperature controllers.
